MAKING OUR CLINIC A SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR PATIENTS AND STAFF

We understand that you may have concerns about returning to in-office clinic visits. You be rest assured that we will implement the following safeguards to minimize the exposure risks related to COVID-19 for our patients/caregivers, families, and staff. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OHSA). We continuously follow the information from of these agencies so that we are up to date on any guidance that may be implemented.

When it is time for your next appointment. We have made these changes to help protect our patients and staff:

  • Our waiting room will remain closed.
  • When you arrive, please wait in your car and call the office to let us know you have arrived at 540-446-2654. When you call, further directions from our staff have been given. Parents will be required to drop off their child and return to their vehicle for duration of therapy visit.
  • Temperature checks and a short health questionnaire for clients and employees will be conducted. If anyone in your family has been ill, we ask that you call and re-schedule your child’s appointment.
  • Employees and parents will be asked to wear a mask and/or face shield. At this time, face masks are not recommend for many of the children we serve. Each family may decide for themselves if their child can tolerate wearing a mask.
  • When the therapy session is completed, we ask that you pick up your child in the back door area (while practicing social distancing). A staff member will have your child meet up with you at the side of the building. If you would like, the therapist  can email you any information.
  • Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. We will be seeing limited amount of patients compared to the typical patient schedule at once.
  • Contactless payment arrangements will be made. Credit card on file forms will be available and/or payments may be made over the phone or email invoices.
  • Toys utilized during therapy sessions will be kept to a minimum. Toys will be sanitized before reuse.
  • Use of Sneeze guard plexiglass barriers to assist with social distancing.
  • Fabric toys, carpeted swings, play dough, sensory bins and other difficult to clean objects will not be used.
  • Employees will wash their hands before and after each therapy session.
  • Employees will sanitize their therapy room and/or work station between each client.
  • Air purifiers throughout clinic and increased cleaning protocols in all clinical areas throughout the day.s, company policies, executive profiles, company awards/distinctions, office locations, shareholder reports, whitepapers, media mentions and other pieces of content that don’t fit into a shorter, more succinct space.
