Fox Therapy Center is the first therapy center in Virginia to receive the Certification of Autism Care from the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES). This designation means that the Fox Therapy Staff have undergone a rigorous training process that will assist in providing services for those who have Autism. This means that parents of children with Autism can be confident that we not only understand your child, but are competent to provide the best services possible for your child!

Speech and language therapy provides assessment, treatment and support for children who have speech, language, voice, social skills, and communication difficulties. SLPs educate and support families in helping their child meet their speech and language milestones.
Occupational therapy (OT) provides treatment and support for children who have physical, sensory, cognitive, or visual difficulties. OTs help children achieve their developmental milestones, as well as educate parents for the overall success for their child!
Feeding therapy helps children improve their feeding skills allowing for more enjoyable mealtimes for the child and their family. At FTC, we offer a FUN and FUNCTIONAL sensory-motor approach to feeding to help your child build their confidence and independence with a variety of food!
Augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) includes all forms of communication (other than oral speech) that are used to express thoughts, needs, wants, and ideas. AAC can be temporary or life-long to meet speech and language needs.
Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy Services. Myofunctional therapy utilizes techniques to help eliminate harmful habit patterns, normalize resting tongue, lips and jaw positions, and/or retrain muscle patterns when there is tongue thrusting.
We are offering this as a way for our patients to continue progress toward goals, as well as a way to provide social connection during this time. Here is what is needed: A Computer, tablet, or phone, Good internet connection, A person available to assist child, If possible, the ability to print (not required).
Parents can easily and conveniently find and fill out needed forms prior to the next appointment. This includes initial patient paperwork as well as updates for existing patients.
